THE weekly Douglas and District darts leagues have now finished for the season, however, congratulations must go to O’Donnell’s men’s team who, after 12 years of hurt, finally lifted the Division One title for the first time.
The title was only decided on the final week of matches, with only one point separating O’Donnell’s and Quarterbridge A.
With QB managing only to squeeze out a 5-4 win against third placed Team Bushy’s, O’Donnell’s after early resistance from their opponents Colours A, eventually pulled through to win the match 6-3, but more importantly, the title by a mere two points.
