Dan Kneen made it 13 podium finishes from 14 starts this season with a second and two thirds on the Mar-Train Yamahas at Cookstown.
‘The Supersport races were a little frustrating as I felt I had good pace,’ said Dan. ‘I got two poor starts and couldn’t get a clear run to the front as there aren’t many passing places on the course.
‘I was trying to line Malachi [Mitchell-Thomas] up on the last lap of the first race when he went down and I was lucky I didn’t get collected by his bike.
‘Derek [Shiels] got me going onto the last lap of race two and covered his lines well to the flag.
‘We’ve had so little time on the Superstock bike, which is why we chose to run it there. I struggled in race one so we made a few changes for race two and it was an improvement although we still aren’t quite there with it. The NW200 is next.’
