A new mental health unit opening at the hospital is hoping to draw on the creative talents of the Manx public for its interior decor.
The Service Users’ Network charity is inviting photographers to submit shots of island scenes to them and the best two will be chosen to decorate the walls of the unit.
SUN chairman Dawn Corlett said: ‘We want to make two images into wall paper for the new mental health acute admissions ward, Manannan Court. We feel local pictures will create a more homely nad welcoming environment for patients and their families.’
The competition is open to all and the closing date is June 15. The photo theme is harbours and glens. Various prizes are on offer. Email sunphotocomp@gmail.com for further information or to submit entries.
