It increasingly looks like SMP Ballasalla A’s Premier Division to throw away after the title contenders moved three points clear at the head of the top-flight standings on Sunday.
Balla beat second-placed Simcocks Red Eagles 46-29 in the weekend’s big match (full report in Thursday’s Manx Independent) to add to their advantage with only three games left to play.
Third-place Route 1 Connections, who beat bottom side PwC Rubies on Sunday, have a couple of games in hand on the leading pair, but face Simcocks Red Eagles this coming weekend in a game that could end their title challenge.
