DOUGLAS B kept their faint hopes of securing the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield alive with an emphatic 52-24 win over Castletown at Port-e-Chee on Saturday afternoon.
Liam King picked up two tries for Douglas and there were also scores from Liam Mulligan, Johnny Howarth, Paul Gale, Carl Conroy, Nick Horsthuis and Joe Whitelegg.
Adam Howarth kicked four conversions and Mark Shortland one.
Darren Davis, Mick Shipley and Matt Quine all scored tries for Castletown with Sam Peel and Gary Stephenson adding conversions.
PDMS Emerging Nomads picked up their second win on the bounce with a 41-0 victory over Vagabonds B at Ballafletcher.
Dave Caldwell and Leon Landells grabbed two tries apiece for Nomads. There were also tries from Duncan Miller and Gareth Watt.
Miller also picked up three conversions.
