Walkers venturing into Summerhill Glen later this month should prepare for a hair raising experience.
Once again PSS Services are to run a Hop-tu-Naa experience in the glen between October 29 and November 1.
Last year’s event saw a host of ghoulish apparitions populating the glen as unsuspecting customers wandered through. Organisers set up the attraction using a loop path in the glen so other visitors were not affected and those wanting the genuine Halloween experience paid a nominal fee.
Last year’s event attracted around 2,000 people in total despite appalling weather. The path was set up with light and sound effects to create an impression of it being haunted and actors in costume ‘interacted’ with visitors.
