David Fayle has been appointed to the position of finance manager with Isle of Man Post Office.
David first joined the Post Office in 2008 as management accounts clerk where he prepared financial management accounts for business unit managers and executive directors.
Over the years, David has been an integral part of the finance team, which meets the financial needs of the business from day to day operations to financial strategy.
In his new role as finance manager, David has responsibility for the management of the management accounting team within the Post Office. This includes looking after year end accounting processes, budgeting and forecasting. David is also responsible for provision of business information to management and the board.
To add to this, since 2012, David has been studying towards his ACCA qualification and is now sitting his final papers at professional level.
Finance director David Catlow said: ‘We are delighted to be able to give David the opportunity to progress within the business.

‘I’m sure that this will continue in his new position as finance manager.’
