ISLE of Man Rock Choir rocked a filled to capacity Pavilion Ballroom in Laxey.
Christine Barton, who set up the choir last year, said: ‘It went extremely well. The atmosphere was electric.
‘Laxey was rocking!’
Among the popular songs were I Believe I Can Fly, Yesterday, Bohemian Rhapsody and The Shoop Shoop Song. Soloists were Amy Bell and Carey Chung, while Maureen Metcalfe, Bernadette Moughtin and Frances Hampton formed a trio.
The audience also got into the spirit of the concert by enthusiastically joining in when invited.
The choir will next be performing outside Bushy’s Beer Tent, on Douglas seafront, at 9pm on Mad Sunday (June 3). In addition, they will be entertaining customers who attend a Father’s Day lunch at Tower House, in Castle Street, Douglas, at 2pm on June 17.
