ROUND one of Western Athletics Club’s Dave Phillips Memorial road running series takes place at St John’s this Friday, April 13.
There is a choice of four laps or two laps of a 1.19-mile course for junior, senior and veteran competitors (taking in the former railway line, Hope and St John’s), plus a short out-and-back course on the old lines for the youth class.
Signing on will take place in St John’s FC clubhouse from 6.15pm for a 7pm start, all welcome. Race one will be a scratch race. Further dates: April 27, May 11, June 15, July 13.
