Port Erin’s George Blackwell has been selected in Scotland’s under-16 squad for two training camps this weekend and next.
Following in the foot-steps of fellow Manx rugby ace Phil Cringle, the 16-year-old flanker is currently at Kirkham Grammar School near Preston and impressed at a trial in Glasgow on Sunday.
The Scots will travel to the Wellington Festival on Friday, April 11 for games against Wales (East), England (North) and England Saxons. George would like to thank IoM Sport for its continued support.
