KEVIN Loundes triumphed in today’s (Tuesday) Santa Dash around the streets of Douglas.
The annual Isle of Man Bank event saw 126 Santas dash from the bank’s Athol Street branch down to Loch Promenade before turning up Church Road and along Finch Road to the finish at the South Douglas Old Friends Association.
Everyone taking part was raising money for a Manx charity.
Kevin, who broke John Halligan’s record time of four minutes 28 seconds, set in 2007, by two seconds, won £300 for Manx Cancer Help.
In second place was the 2010 and 2009 winner, Ryan Fairclough, who won £200 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (Isle of Man).
Alan Corlett, running for Noble’s Hospital’s special care baby unit, won £100 by finishing third.
The highest place woman was Dawn Yates, who won £100 for Victim Support.
