Douglas Council this morning (Wednesday) agreed to a below-inflation increase in the rates charged to householders in the next financial year.
The rise will be 2p, taking the rate to 397p in the pound.
The rate in Port Erin has increased to 288p in the pound, an increase of 7p (or 2.4 per cent) over last year.
