THE latest Portsmouth round at the Isle of Man Archery Club formed part of the handicap league and was held at the weekend.
The competition saw six archers achieve personal bests, including junior gents Rhys Moore and Bradley Layton who broke the magical 500 barrier. Others included Charlotte Harris, Colin Moore, Ethan Moore and Karen Lott.
The honours of topping the table fell to Ed Bennett who took on the markers roll, followed by the Moore brothers with Rhys picking up the runners-up spot and Ethan having to put up with the last spot on the podium.

There is no shooting at Onchan next week with 15 archers away at Wigan shooting in the 13th annual Orrell Portsmouth Shoot.
The next round at Onchan will be the Indoor Senior Championships held on the morning of Sunday, February 5 at 10am for a 10.30 start.
The Junior Indoor Championships also takes place on the same day, only in the afternoon 1.30 for a 2pm start.
