RATEPAYERS will have to pay 2.1 per cent more in Douglas in the next financial year.
The new rate was set today at 395p in the pound.
Port St Mary has also announced its rate. It will remain unchanged at 306p in the pound.
Lonan’s rate is 60p in the pound, plus a separate refuse/waste charge will be £123 per household.
Rates set elsewhere, and already reported, include Castletwon, where it remains unchanged, at 320p in the pound.
The Onchan rate rose by 4p to 275p in the pound.
Peel’s rate remains unchanged at 242p in the pound plus a waste disposal fee per dwelling of £152.
Lezayre’s rate has risen from 67p in the pound to 70.5p (up 3.5p).
Port Erin’s rate is 281p in the pound, up 1.08 per cent.
Many of the island’s other authorities have yet to set their rates.
