REBECCA Bayley, seven times island under-18 women’s table tennis champion, recently won her first UK ranking title.
Competing at the Bribar Grand Prix in Bristol, Bayley won the women’s band four competition, reached the quarter finals of the band three event and finished fourth in the Ladies under-21 competition.
She was presented with the Bribar Player of the Weekend Trophy, awarded on the basis of ongoing improvement, commitment, and general all-round play.
Becky, who plays for Foxdale in the first division of the local league, will compete in further UK ranking events as well as representing Arbory in the Senior British League (Div: 3 North) and Fusion, a team in the Ladies British League.
