2E2 DOUGLAS welcome Buxton to Port-e-Chee this Saturday in South lancshire and Cheshire Division Two, with the home side aiming to make it 10 wins in a row.

The Manx side have made a tremendous start to the season so far and will hope it continues this weekend.

The well-drilled visitors from Derbyshire, according to reports, have been unlucky not to have won more than they have and on their day are a match for anyone including Douglas.

There aren’t too many changes this week to the Manx side.

Skipper Goodall is back in contention and new recruit Craig Lea is also competing for hooker with James Lidgett and Carl Markl-Ferns.

In the backs division Mike Hebden is unavailable so Goodall may slot into the centres with Drew Corris.

Douglas will have to make sure they do not take this fixture lightly as the league table shows a different story to what will transpire come the weekend.

Buxton will be determined to kick-start their season and where better than at Port-e-Chee.

This is the game in hand for Douglas so the chance is there to close the gap on leaders Sefton but it is far from a forgone conclusion.

Douglas will have to show the same respect they have shown to all opposition they have faced so far if they are to continue their nine-game winning streak.

Kick off is 2.15pm. All support welcome.
