Youngsters had the chance to try out being a firefighter for a day at the Douglas fire station open day.
Children could have a go with the hoses, ride the aerial ladder platform and go down a zip wire, run by the rope rescue team.
Attendees could also sit in the fire engines and firefighters gave demonstrations which included a tower rescue.
In addition, face painting was on offer and guests could enter a raffle where they could win prizes such as a GoPro Camera, Isle of Man Steam Packet Company vouchers and restaurant vouchers.
The open day, which was held on Sunday, raised money for The Firefighters Charity and Tabitha’s Trust.
The Firefighters Charity aims to support and enhance the quality of life for serving and retired firefighters, fire personnel and their families.
Tabitha’s Trust provides services, support and equipment to families who experience the loss of a child from in the womb to 16 years old.
