Onchan School pupils were left ‘excited and full of enthusiasm’ after a visit and display from the White Helmets.
The Royal Signals Motorbike Display Team, a team of 30 volunteer soldiers from the Corps, also allowed the children to have photographs taken on their bikes.
Captain Jon McLelland said: ‘As we were driving up you could hear the children screaming. It was nice to see them so keen, happy and full of energy.’
Formed in 1927, the group tour Britain every year putting on acrobatic performances.
Onchan School secretary Andrea Barker, who helped organise the visit, said: ‘The kids were so excited, full of enthusiasm and very much in awe.
‘This event was very much a success, you only needed to look at the children’s faces to see that.’
The White Helmets also made an appearance at Onchan Raceway on Mad Sunday for a ‘grudge match’ with stunt team The Purple Helmets.
