A section of the TT Mountain Course will be closed for around two and half hours this morning, from 9.30am, between Glen Helen and Cronk-y-Voddy.
The Department of Infrastructure says it will be will carrying out some ‘minor safety-related rectification work’ following discussions with the TT race organiser.
Leading rider William Dunlop came off his bike in the area during Saturday’s evening’s practice session, although it remains unclear whether this is connected to the work taking place this morning.
A diversion route along the Peel coast road will be signposted from Ballig Bridge, along the Poortown road, and in Kirk Michael at Douglas Road Corner.
