This was Ramsey’s first home defeat of the season and King Edward Bay’s first away victory.
Castletown 4 (MBL Financial),
Peel (Black Rock Financial) 3
This was always going to be a close battle. Castletown took three out of the four singles with impressive wins for Neil Cain and Paul Lowey for the visitors.
Peel held on for two out of the three foursomes matches.
Port St Mary (Mann Crane Hire) 4.5, Mount Murray (Haldane Fisher) 2.5
The team selection proved to be a stroke of genius as Port St Mary out-foxed the foursomes specialists of Mount Murray on their way to securing a very impressive win.
Douglas (Edmunson Electrical)7,
Rowany (Technaut IT) 0
Douglas don’t take defeat lightly and clearly sought revenge on Rowany for beating them earlier in the season.
A proper lesson was dished out to the visitors as Douglas move to within three points of the leaders.
Standings: 1, Castletown 37 points; 2, Mount Murray 35; 3, Douglas 34; 4, Peel 33.5.
