The Isle of Man Football Association’s representative side will host Teesside League in the next round of the FA Inter-League Cup.
The quarter-final tie will take place at the Bowl on or before February 6.
It is the first time Nick Hurt’s team have been drawn at home this campaign having triumphed 7-1 and 9-0 at the Chester and Wirral League and the Cheshire League in the competition’s previous two rounds.
Teesside haven’t quite been as prolific as the mighty Manx, but have still notched up some notable results to book their place in the last eight.
The north easterners required extra time to defeat the Scarborough & District League in April’s preliminary round before beating the Cumberland and Staffordshire county league in their two following ties.
Hurt’s men will be hoping to lift the Inter-League trophy for a third time come the end of the season and secure another shot at the UEFA Regions Cup.
Fellow competition favourites the Jersey Football Combination were knocked out by the Essex & Suffolk Border League in the last round, as were fellow Channel Islanders the Guernsey County Senior League who slipped up in extra time against the Southern Amateur League.
February’s tie will hopefully be the beginning of the a busy few months for Hurt and his merry Men with the Umbro Quadrangular provisionally down to be played again next May.
