Multiple British champion Robin Luscombe is supporting Nigel Crellin and Chris Molyneux in their bid to become the first Manx duo to win the sidecar trials title.
Robin, who runs Luscombe Leeds, the Suzuki and Mitsubishi car dealership, has offered to help with their travel expenses for the remaining eight rounds of the series, having won the opening two events on home ground recently.
‘I thought the series would be more exciting with a three-way battle,’ said the 16-time champion and-Manx Two Day Trial winner.
‘I have enjoyed the Manx trials and company so much over the years it seemed a good way to help the series and Manx sidecars, so to help Nigel and Chris was an easy decision.’
Crellin and Molyneux, who campaign a Juan Knight 300cc Gas Gas, lead the expert class by eight points from Rupert and Chris Kimber. Rounds three and four are in the West of England and Cornwall over the weekend of March 7 and 8.
