ROAD repairs to strengthen New Castletown Road from Groves Road to Quarterbridge roundabout will begin after the TT, MHKs were told last week.
Infrastructure Minister David Cretney gave an update on the roads maintenance programme, having revealed in October that at least £100m was needed to either reconstruct, overlay or resurface roads to bring them into a good standard of repair.
He told the House of Keys that top priorities identified were the Douglas promenades and Peel Road.
He said that after the TT it was planned to begin work on strengthening New Castletown Road from Groves Road to Quarterbridge. He said other maintenance planned included Main Road, Onchan; Lezayre Road, Ramsey; and Cooil Road and Ballacottier roundabout, Braddan.
