COMMUNITY groups interested in using the facilities at the newly-built Bemahague School are invited to find out more at an event due to be held on May 12.
There is a chance for arts, sport and social groups to visit the site of St Ninian’s High School’s new lower school, in Onchan, at 10am.
They will be shown the craft and performance areas, as well as the sports facilities.
Visitors will then have a chance to discuss arrangements for booking the new facilities at Bemahague, as well as the established facilities at the school’s upper school site in Ballaquayle Road, Douglas.
This meeting will take place at Park Road lower school and is expected to start at 11.15am.
As Bemahague is still a construction site, only one person per group can be catered for.
All visitors must wear suitable footwear when on-site, such as wellington boots or walking boots. To book, contact the school office on 648800. Bemahague School will house 700 key stage three pupils in years seven to nine (ages 11 to 14) from September.
