The big games keep coming in the Canada Life Premier League, with second place Peel hosting a DHSOB side that sit third on Saturday.

This game was scheduled to have been played a couple of weeks ago but a spate of wet weather intervened.

The pair are only separated in the standings by goal difference, but the thus far unbeaten westerners have played two games less.

In their last four games Steve Falconer’s in-form side have scored 18 goals, conceding just once.

This momentum may just give them the edge over an Old Boys side who slipped to their second defeat of the season at the hands of St George’s last time out.

There’s a big game in the north as Ramsey aim to wrestle fourth spot back from a St Mary’s side they hold a couple of games in hand over.

The Ballacloan outfit make the short trip to Andreas and Ayre on Saturday looking for maximum points.

Ramsey have only won once away from home this season, but should have enough quality about them to see off an Ayre side that has struggled with absences in the last few weeks.

St Mary’s will have to play a waiting game after this week as they complete their official first-half programme with a game against Corinthians at Ballafletcher.

The Whites will have been buoyed by last weekend’s 6-0 triumph at Gymns and will push the Saints all the way on their exposed pitch.

League leaders St George’s make the trip to second-bottom Michael. Geordies are likely to be without Calum Morrissey and Johnny Myers through injury, but still should have enough to claim the points from a United side that hasn’t scored in their last five matches.

This includes a 9-0 thumping by Chris Bass Sr’s men a couple of weeks ago.

Fellow relegation candidates Gymns will be hoping to finally secure some points at Tromode when they host Rushen, while in the day’s other game St John’s host Laxey in a contest that could go either way.
