The Isle of Man was recently represented in the third round of the UK Mixed Martial Arts League by Jon Ferguson, Harry Brereton, Oscar Brown, Vladimir Dvorak and Liam Quinn at the Leicester MMA Academy.
The five competitors from Blackdog MMA performed well throughout and earned some fantastic results, winning four fights overall, drawing four and losing just twice. Ferguson picked up two victories while Brereton won one and drew another. Brown drew both of his fights, Quinn won one and lost one and Dvorak drew one and lost one.
The results mean that two of the fighters are now in with a chance of winning the UK MMA League title in respective weight classes, with Ferguson (light heavyweight) and Brereton (middleweight) both only requiring one victory each to bring home the belts from the SENI International Combat Sports Show which is being held at the Excel Arena, London in June.
