Police are investigating after a dog bit a woman.
The incident that took place near the Clypse reservoir in Onchan at about noon on Friday, August 15.
Two dogs being walked in the area fought, during which one of the dog owners was bitten on the thigh by a Staffordshire-type dog.
The woman sustained puncture wounds and bruising.
The walker of the ‘Staffordshire-type dog’ is described as a blonde woman. She was wearing gym clothes – three-quarter-length black lycra pants and a vest top.
Police are asking anyone who knows the identity of the other dog walker to ring police headquarters on 631212.
